SRVS FAQs

Still River Veterinary Services will become a part of EquidDoc Veterinary Services as of July 15, 2019 and will no longer be operated as a standalone veterinary practice. The Still River Veterinary Services name and logo will fondly be retired with the practice. All former clients and patients of SRVS will become – with your consent – clients and patients of EquidDoc Veterinary Services.

Not entirely. While Dr. Fuhs will be leaving full-time clinical practice by the end of this year, she fully intends to keep her hands in veterinary medicine in a volunteer capacity both on projects to directly assist in the care of animals as well as to serve her veterinary colleagues in her roles with the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association. Among other things, Dr. Fuhs plans to continue to volunteer with the annual CanAm Sled Dog Races in Fort Kent, Maine and the annual Bolton Fair as well as to look for new opportunities to learn while serving as a volunteer veterinarian. She also plans to continue in her commitment to ride and fundraise for the Pan Mass Challenge for cancer research and care, and very much hopes that you will continue to support her in this regard as you have so generously done in the past.

Dr. Caitlin Eaton and her associates at EquidDoc Veterinary Services – along with Dr. Fuhs for the balance of 2019 – will continue to provide for your animals’ veterinary medical needs. After this transition period, EquidDoc will assume responsibility for providing care for the former patients and clients of Still River Veterinary Services.

Dr. Fuhs will have already provided you with a Medical Records Release Form as an enclosure with her letter to you announcing her plans to transition SRVS into EquidDoc Veterinary Services. All you need to do is complete and sign the Release Form, and either e-mail, fax or mail it back to Dr. Fuhs at Still River Veterinary Services.
