March is poison prevention awareness month! Today we’re reminding all of our small ruminant owners about the most common toxic plants our goats encounter in the backyard: rhododendron, azalea, mountain laurel, nightshade, and bracken fern. Boxwood and yew are also frequent culprits around the holidays, resembling safe evergreen species like pine trees.
