Health Certificates
EquidDoc provides digital and analog health certificates for our equine patients. Health certificates are necessary when traveling across state lines and are required by many organized events, showgrounds and fairgrounds, both in and out of state. A health certificate documents that your horse was examined to be free from infectious disease, which protects your horse and the rest of the barn from unknowingly transmitting disease. Most health certificates are good for travel for 30 days after examination.

Microchips & Chip Insertion
Microchips are a permanent form of identification, and they contain a unique number sequence that is far more accurate than pictures, drawings or tattoos. Microchips are now required by many show and breed organizations. Microchip insertion is a minimally invasive procedure in which the grain-of-rice-sized microchip is inserted into the neck area below the mane. Already have a microchip? Ask for your horse’s chip to be scanned at their annual exam!
