Associate Equine Veterinarian (Full-Time)
Massachusetts | Ambulatory Equine & Small Ruminant Practice
EquidDoc Veterinary Services is seeking a motivated Associate Veterinarian to join our growing, privately owned ambulatory practice in Central Massachusetts. Our team provides comprehensive on-farm care to a diverse caseload consisting of approximately 90% equine and 10% small ruminants, with an emphasis on quality medicine, client education, teamwork, and work-life balance.

Qualifications
- DVM/VMD degree and Massachusetts veterinary licensure (or eligibility)
- Internship training or at least one year of practice experience preferred
- Excellent communication and client-relations skills
- Interest in ambulatory equine practice and client education
- Sports medicine, acupuncture, or reproductive experience a plus
- Clean driving record
- Willingness to participate in a shared emergency/on-call rotation

Experienced Equine Veterinary Technician
North Oxford, MA | Full-Time-Part-Time
Join an Established Ambulatory Equine Practice
EquidDoc Veterinary Services is seeking an experienced Equine Veterinary Technician or highly skilled Veterinary Assistant to join our collaborative mobile practice. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on equine and small ruminant handling, working outdoors, and supporting advanced diagnostics and field-based veterinary care.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with lameness exams, emergencies, and medical procedures
- Support radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy diagnostics
- Safely handle and restrain equine and small ruminant patients
- Process diagnostic samples and assist with medication preparation
- Maintain equipment, inventory, and veterinary vehicles
- Document treatments and maintain accurate medical records
- Provide professional client communication in the field and by phone/email
Qualifications
- 2+ years of veterinary experience (equine experience strongly preferred)
- Strong equine handling skills required
- CVT/LVT/RVT preferred but not required
- Experience with diagnostic imaging and laboratory procedures preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in an outdoor/mobile environment
Schedule
- Full-time preferred
- Primarily weekday farm-call schedule
- Seasonal variation typical of equine and large animal practice
- No overnight or on-call shifts
