Digital Radiography & Ultrasound

EquidDoc has the latest in digital radiography and ultrasound equipment. Digital radiography uses x-rays to instantly visualize bone, which is helpful for assessing fractures, arthritis and tooth root infections on-the farm. An x-ray may also be taken to assess the lungs in cases of pneumonia. Digital ultrasound may also be used to evaluate the chest (heart and lungs) as well as the abdominal organs and pregnancy confirmation and fetal assessment. Umbilical abnormalities and lung issues may be evaluated in crias using ultrasound.
