Veterinary Assistant
Maggie Flynn
Maggie graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BS in Equine Studies and a concentration in therapeutic riding, where she discovered a love of dressage and teaching. She spent the next few years coaching young riders while continuing to grow her own riding and groundwork skills.
For eight years, Maggie was an assistant manager at a dressage barn, helping care for 12 performance horses. Along the way, she gained hands-on experience with gut health, lameness rehabilitation, and sport horse care. She’s excited to dive into veterinary medicine and learn more about camelids and small ruminants.
Outside of work, Maggie enjoys time with her boyfriend Ben, family, and retired horses, Scout and Gus. She loves reading, crochet, cross-stitch, and experimenting in the kitchen—but no matter the weather, there’s always room for ice cream!
